Privacy Policy
JTower ("the game") is a mobile idle tower-management game for Android and iOS made by Jfoundry, an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data is handled when you play and the choices you have.
Summary
- We don't run accounts or analytics. We don't collect personal data ourselves.
- If the game shows ads, the ad network may collect device data when you are online.
- Any purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.
- Your progress is saved only on your device.
Data we collect
None directly. The game has no sign-in and no analytics, and it can be played offline. We don't sell your data.
Advertising
The game may offer optional rewarded videos (for example, to double offline earnings). Ads are served by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). When you are online, the ad SDK may collect and process, under Unity's own privacy policy:
- your device's advertising identifier (the Android Advertising ID, or on iOS the IDFA if you allow tracking);
- information about your device, such as model, operating system, language and network, and approximate location derived from your IP address;
- how you interact with ads, and diagnostics about ad performance.
This data is used to show ads, measure them, limit how often they appear and prevent fraud. We see only aggregated ad reports, never data that identifies you.
Your choices. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. On iOS, the system asks whether to allow tracking; you can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads.
Unity's privacy policy: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy.
In-app purchases
If the game offers purchases, they are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made so we can deliver it; we never receive your name, payment card or billing address.
Data stored on your device
The game saves your progress (cities, floors, upgrades, currencies and settings) and the time you last played, used to calculate offline earnings, in a file on your device. We never receive this file. Your device's own backup (Android Auto Backup or iCloud) may include it under Google's or Apple's terms, so your progress can be restored on a new device. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
Crash reports
If the game crashes, Google Play or Apple may collect a crash report, depending on your device settings and under their own privacy policies. We can view these reports in our developer consoles; they don't identify you.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we don't hold personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best directed to Unity (see the link above). You can always contact us and we will help.
Security and retention
We don't store your data on our own servers. Data processed by our ad and store partners is kept according to their own retention policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data (for example by adding cloud saves or leaderboards), we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships, and update the store privacy labels to match.
